The Bunbury RSL and City of Bunbury are inviting all community members to engage in this year's Anzac Day events.
At 5.45am on Thursday, April 25, community representatives will come together at the RSL Sub-branch before marching to the Bunbury War Memorial.
The dawn service will be held at 6am, prior to the service at Rathmines War Memorial, in Austral Parade, at 8.30am.
Following the march to the Graham Bricknell Music Shell at 10.30am, the official wreath laying/service will begin at 11am.
This year's service will honour special guest Richard Norman Eaton, of the 2nd/11th Battalion.
Mr Eaton served in North Africa, Greece, and Crete, before being wounded and taken prisoner in 1941.
He was discharged in 1945, after being imprisoned in Camp Stalag 8b, Poland for 3 1/2 years. Mr Eaton then made his return to Western Australia.
"The events will commemorate those who served and gave their lives for our country and our freedoms," Bunbury RSL president John Gelmi said.
"We also remember the returning diggers who are now coming back from Iraq and Afghanistan.
"The services cover all conflicts that servicemen and women from Australia have been involved in."
The Shire of Capel will hold a dawn service at Peppermint Grove Foreshore at 6am, ahead of the official march/service in the Capel Townsite at 10am.
Two services will take place at the Dardanup War Memorial, on Little Street, at 6am and 9am, organised by the Dardanup and Districts Residents Association.
Anzac Day services will also be held in Harvey and Brunswick Junction on Thursday morning.
