Olympic recurve archer, and Bunbury Archery Club member, Graham Hutchins has struck gold.
March saw the 67-year-old claim the top prize in the 2019 Benara Club Challenge - Male Veteran Recurve division at Whiteman Park.
Last year, Hutchins picked up Bronze in the Archery WA Old Coots Shoot - Male Veteran Recurve competition.
Hutchins said he was pleased to see his hard work paying off.
"I really enjoy archery, I always have - the discipline and the camaraderie are great," he said.
"Archery provides a challenge. You compete against yourself and you improve over time.
"Archery strengthens your shoulders and back.
"There's a lot that goes on, with regards to holding the bow, releasing the arrow, finding your anchor point etc.
"It feels good to be able to compete with the younger archers, as well."
Bunbury Archery Club treasurer Coral Dandridge said they were thrilled to have Hutchins on-board.
