Pioneer Cup 2019: Hay Park women's premier side claims 2-1 win over Football Margaret River

Hay Park's Ladies premier team lifted the 2019 Pioneer and Legends Cup in front of a feverish home crowd.

Hayley Castrilli slotted Hay Park's first goal early in the game. Football Margaret River kicked the equaliser, before the Magpies booted their second.

Following their 2-1 win, Bunbury MLA Don Punch presented the Magpies with the cup.

Savannah Olsthoorn was all smiles after receiving Best on Ground.

Dunsborough's Men's premier side went up against Busselton City later in the day.

A sharp free kick from Mitchell Monck put Busselton in front by one.

Dunsborough's Jack Eades levelled the scores early in the second half, before Scott Duncan slotted the team's second.

The Towner's claimed a 2-1 win, while Ryan Martin was named Man of the Match.

Bunbury United's men's premier side earned a tight 2-1 win over South West Phoenix in Round Three of the South West Soccer Association's 2019 season.

The round also saw Dalyellup defeat Hay Park 4-1, Dynamos obliterate Dunsborough 7-0, and Busselton kick six goals to two against Australind.

Hay Park's men's reserves claimed a 3-0 win over Dalyellup, before Dunsborough overcame Dynamos 2-1 and Busselton thumped Australind 7-0.

In the ladies' premier competition, Hay Park edged out Australind 5-4 after Dynamos cruised to a commendable 4-0 victory over Football Margaret River.

Busselton put six unanswered goals past a depleted Dunsborough line-up.

Blackwood's ladies' reserves scored a 3-0 win over Hay Park, Australind beat out Collie 2-1, and Dalyellup thrashed Geographe 4-1.
