The clash between Harvey and Harvey-Brunswick-Leschenault will not go ahead this weekend, out of respect for Bulls' footballer Lachlan "Lockie" Hernaman.
Releasing a statement on Wednesday, Harvey Bulls Football Club expressed their profound sadness following Hernaman's passing.
"The Club offers its deepest condolences and sympathies to Lockie's family, friends and teammates and is working with the West Australian Country Football League and West Australian Football Commission to offer support and counselling services," they said.
WA Police confirmed Hernaman collapsed while at football training on Tuesday evening.
The 20-year-old was conveyed to Harvey Hospital, by St John Ambulance personnel, just after 7pm.
The circumstances of his death have been deemed non-suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
The South West Football League and clubs are offering counselling and support services to those affected by the loss.
