Driver Chris Voak produced two first-class performances in this year's 2yo De Campo Memorials meet on Saturday, May 4 at Donaldson Park.
Voak guided Kevin Charles-trained Join the Que ($11) in the first event - the 2100-metre Plumbers and Gas Fitters Bunbury MS Pace.
After being one out/three back at the bell, the bay gelding thundered down the straight and edged out New Zealand bay mare Front Row by 1.1m.
Race favourite Great Googlymoogly led at the bell before falling back to eighth.
Voak and Ruling Gold ($7.50) took out the 2100m Gary De Campo Memorial MS Pace later in the evening.
Following a brisk final lap, the bay gelding finished 1.30m ahead of race favourite Mister Spot.
The 3yo+ Arctic Air MS Pace (2569m) saw New Zealand's Millwood Gucci ($4.20), and driver Aaron Beckett, eclipse the other eight entrants.
Prior to the final lap, Garry Johnson-trained Im Loki and bay gelding Disco Durante were both in contention.
Millwood Gucci came back to finish half-a-head in front of bay gelding Im Thor.
In a thrilling finish to the 2100m Sky Racing Fillies and Mares MS Pace, Barry Howlett-trained Hello Hotshot ($2.15) crossed half-a-neck ahead of Newsletter and half-a-head in front of Motor On Jessie.
Beckett's win was soured after he was fined $400 for unacceptable whip use.
Doing his family proud, driver Aiden De Campo led Andrew De Campo-trained Some Copper Beach ($1.70) to victory in the 1609m De Campo Memorial 2yo Fillies MS Pace.
