On the cusp of their Good Good Mood Tour, the members of Ball Park Music have a lot of reasons to feel great.

Reception from both fans and critics continues to grow.

They have a track featured on the video game NBA 2K19, and are about to hit the road again after touring their latest album, Good Mood, in September last year.

Their upcoming regional-focused tour will see the band return to Bunbury in June - a place of wild memories for frontman Sam Cromack.

Following a disastrous show in Bunbury during their first visit in 2012, the group made their triumphant return to the city one year later.

Cromack said their tour manager at the time put on a live Led Zeppelin album, and it set the mood for a comeback.

"We went in there with just a great attitude and we were really keen to jam a lot more on stage and feel a bit freer when we were playing," Cromack said.

"It was one of our most memorable gigs, we just had the best night - the crowd was awesome and we felt like we played really well.

"We had one of our best sets there, we had a really fun night - good, volatile memories in Bunbury."

Cromack said the idea of again venturing outside of the major cities came after the band wrapped up their recent national tour.

"Our Australian fan base is our biggest and means the most to us, and I think we just thought: 'Well, let's look after them, this is our home country so let's go and play as many places as we can'," he said.

"It's definitely a bit harder logistically, and sometimes financially, but we were really excited to do it, and we just think the stories from regional touring are way better.

"It feels a bit more like an adventure."

As part of their latest adventure, Ball Park Music will be performing to fans at the Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre on Monday, June 3.

Tia Gostelow, Mosquito Coast and Butternut Sweetheart will provide support during the show.
