As part of the state budget last week Premier Mark McGowan joined Bunbury MLA Don Punch announced ServiceWA, a new 'one-stop shop' that will change the way government delivers services to the community.
The state budget has included $6.9 million to pilot the program in Bunbury. ServiceWA will provide the community with a single point of contact for 85 everyday services at a Bunbury pilot site set to be located within the CBD.
Mr McGowan said ServiceWA would transform the way the community accessed government services.
"By creating a one-stop shop, it will reduce frustration, traveling time, waiting in queues, and searching for the right department," he said.
Mr Punch said he was pleased to see Bunbury leading in a new way of delivering government services.
"Having the ServiceWA pilot site in Bunbury is a big win for our community, and I expect the new shopfront will make life much easier for families," he said.
