The Salvation Army Bunbury Corps and The Bean and Cone, on Victoria Street, are teaming up to help those less fortunate in the region.
For every purchase of the cafe's Superhero Gelato and Red Velvet Gelato flavours, $1 will go to the Salvation Army's Red Shield Appeal.
All tips will also be donated to the Salvos.
Bean and Cone owner Margaret Adams jumped at the opportunity to assist the Salvos and those in need.
"The Salvation Army works with families and children, and I have experience in that field," she said.
"I know first-hand what the Salvos do for people, so it's an honour to help both them and the community.
"We want to get mums, dads, and kids to come in and support the cause."
Salvation Army Bunbury Corps officer Mark Schatz and his wife, fellow officer Zoe Schatz, frequent the cafe on a semi-regular basis.
Along with the quality produce, the pair were pleasantly surprised with the establishment's location, friendly service and positive atmosphere.
Mr Schatz said they were committed to assisting community members across Bunbury.
"By purchasing an ice cream, you will be helping someone who is underprivileged and in need of help," he said.
"The campaign helps those who are struggling within our local community.
"If everyone in Bunbury each bought one ice cream, the funds raised would go a long way towards helping homeless people."
The campaign will draw to a close on Sunday, May 26.
Supporting people all over Australia since 1965, the Red Shield Appeal is the Salvation Army's biggest annual fundraising drive.
Appealing for donations around the country, the Salvos' Red Shield Doorknock is set to take place this weekend.
