Bunbury's Cian Parsons, 17, will join 35 other star players in the 2019 Western Australian AFLW 18s' line-up.
Under coach Beau McDonald, the side will go up against teams from around Australia in the NAB AFLW National 18s Championships.
The team will clash with the WAFLW All-Stars in an exhibition match, prior to the competition.
WA will then face off against Queensland in Round One, on June 14 (at Claremont Oval) and 16 (Leederville Oval).
In July, the squad will travel to the Gold Coast before taking on Vic Metro, Central Allies, and Vic Country.
Former South Bunbury Football Club player, and current Claremont powerhouse, Ella Smith will also be along for the ride.
Last year, Parsons starred for the Bunbury Football Club whilst training in the South West Football Academy.
The 17-year-old has represented five state basketball teams, and currently plays for the South West Slammers' Women's side in the State Basketball League.
The superstar said she was honoured to receive this new opportunity.
"I cannot wait to train hard, learn more about the game, and better my skills," she said.
"I know I still have a lot to learn, so this is what drives me to achieve my goals.
"The competition is going to be very tough. So, to improve my skills, I'm going to play my hardest and take this opportunity as a learning curve."
Parsons hopes to reach the highest level - the AFLW competition - in the near future.
