A Collie couple has collected six full bags of rubbish near the Park Street bushland this week after watching the amount of litter continue to build up since December.
Geoff and Gaye Wilks said most of the litter was cans, bottles, and take-away items that were quickly discarded.
"People just drive along this street and throw stuff out of their cars into the bush and along the street," Mr Wilks said.
"Just to walk through this bit of bush when all the wildflowers are out, those spider orchards, kangaroo paws, there is so much there to look at. It's disappointing to see people are not worried about what they are doing to that piece of bush."
Mr Wilks said a bin could be placed in the bush so people had somewhere to put their rubbish, instead of littering.
