Truckline Bunbury has become the worthy recipient of the Branch of the Year award.
Truckline's 22 branches across Australia are judged according to sales, profit, and cost management metrics.
Truckline general manager Martin Hinkley said the award comes down to more than just numbers on a page.
"Every retail business needs good sales, but what is most important to us at Truckline is customer satisfaction," he said.
"If we have happy customers, sales will follow, and the Bunbury team excels at this."
The presentation coincides with Hinkley's first visit to the Bunbury Branch, following his appointment to the general manager role in April.
"I grew up in WA and it's always great to get back," he said.
"I certainly look forward to getting to know all our staff over here and I've been really impressed with the Bunbury team's commitment to the store and their customers.
For Truckline Bunbury branch manager Bradley Wood, the achievement is the culmination of an 18-month transition plan.
"We relocated the Bunbury branch in late 2017, after occupying the previous premises for more than 20 years, so we've now had a full year in a bigger, more modern facility," he said.
"Everything about this facility makes life easier for customers.
"We have a much larger interactive showroom with an expanded product selection and better parking facilities for all types of vehicles.
"You also can't overlook how much nicer it is for customers and staff to be in a well presented, modern environment.
"I'm lucky to have such great staff, they love working here and we now have the award to prove it."
Late last year, the company announced extensive plans for branch redevelopments and relocations.
The announcement coincided with the grand reopening of the Brooklyn Branch in Victoria after refurbishment, with more to come.
"Truckline's relocation and refurbishment plan is a crucial part of our effort to ensure customers can get the part they want," Mr Hinkley said.
"We stock over 25,000 parts for American, European, and Japanese trucks, and 92 per cent of that stock is held in-store.
"Ensuring every Truckline store Australia-wide is a familiar environment will assist customers to find the parts they need in-store, backed by the expertise and service of our staff."
