Resonate Homes and owner Cameron Reid have been praised for their ingenuity and attention to detail.
In May, the builder was honoured to receive the 2019 HIA Australian Specialised Housing Award.
The result comes after Resonate Homes claimed the WA Specialised Housing Award late last year.
Mr Reid said the winning home, located in Bunbury, was a comfortable, spacious abode tailored to the customer's needs.
"Being in a wheelchair, the client had some special requirements. From the very start, we had to take everything into consideration," he said.
"There are quite a few special features, including home automation throughout the house.
"It felt good to go back and see the client living independently.
"We were surprised to win, but we were also very happy to be recognised at the national level.
"Getting the state and national awards felt pretty special. It makes it all worthwhile, and it feels great to be recognised."
