After four tough rounds, the ECU Souwest Jets' league side has retained fifth spot on the Gold Industry Group West Australian Netball League ladder.
The Jets were confident ahead of their clash with the Southside Demons, at the State Netball Centre, in Round Three.
Scoring 12 in the opening term, Goal Shooter Maia Bratton put the visitors in front by four at the first change.
The Demons then came back to level the scores (25-all) just before the main break.
Goal Shooter Meg Gallager and Goal Attack Rebecca Lill gifted Southside with a four-goal lead at three quarter time.
Maintaining her composure, Gallager notched up a 14-goal haul in the final term. Southside moved up the ladder following its tight 57 to 51 win.
The Jets had a ball during their first home game, at the Eaton Recreation Centre, on Saturday night.
Backed by an enthusiastic home crowd, the team strived to return to the winner's circle in Round Four.
Capitalising on several turnovers from East Fremantle, the Jets hit their stride and claimed a narrow lead at quarter time.
Once again, Western Sting players Sloan Burton (Goal Attack) and Giselle Taylor (Goal Shooter) were simply unstoppable up forward.
In the second term, the home side communicated well and found free players around the court.
Grace Parker (GS) and Emma Cosh (GA) then brought East Fremantle back from the brink.
The Jets suffered a second-term slump, before the Sharks secured a five-goal buffer at the main break.
Moving swiftly up and down the court, the visitors extended their margin to 11 by three quarter time.
With the Jets struggling to keep up, East Fremantle went on to win 61 to 42.
Coming off a 12-goal win over Southside, the Jets Under-20s suffered a crushing 40 to 54 loss to the Sharks in Round Four.
Both Jets' sides will face off against the West Coast Warriors in Round Six.
In Round 10 of the South West Netball Football League, Harvey-Brunswick-Leschenault notched up a commanding 54 to 35 win over reigning premiers Busselton.
South Bunbury and Augusta-Margaret River drew 32-all, after four nail-biting quarters.
HBL is now sitting on top of the leaderboard, above Carey Park, Bunbury, Eaton, Busselton, South Bunbury, the Hawks, and Harvey.
Round 11 will see Harvey clash with AMR, Bunbury battle the Lions, and Carey Park take on Eaton.
