The leader of the Liberal National Party has ruled out cutting deals with minor outfits to win the next Queensland poll.
Deb Frecklington has promised party faithful the LNP will not budge on plans to bump Labor out of government and win the October 2020 election on its own.
"There will be no deals with other parties. No compromises," she told the LNP convention in Brisbane on Friday.
Nominations for 11 seats that Ms Frecklington says the party is in good stead to win over will open immediately after the convention wraps up on Sunday.
They are Gaven, Townsville, Maiwar, Mundingburra, Aspley, Redlands, Barron River, Whitsunday, Mansfield, Maryborough and Mirani.
Removing saltwater crocodiles from Queensland's endangered species list, a ban on mobile phones in schools, slashing the period during which a woman can get an abortion and a ban on face coverings are among the resolutions members will vote on.
"We will have to beat Labor, the Greens, One Nation and an independent to take those seats," Ms Frecklington added.
"Our goal is the return of a majority LNP government."
Ms Frecklington and Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk have jostled to position their respective parties as the backer of the bush since Queensland rejected federal Labor at the May 18 election.
There are still 477 days until Queenslanders head to the ballot box but Ms Frecklington claims her party will be the underdog, and has promised to turn around the prospects for households doing it tough.
She has made a point of Labor's lack of regional representation in cabinet as being symbolic of its neglect of those communities, and says it has refused to work with the federal government to the advantage of Queensland.
