"Moulin Rouge! The Musical" is coming to Melbourne in 2021.
Broadway show Moulin Rouge! The Musical will make its Australian debut in Melbourne in 2021.
The stage adaption of Baz Luhrmann's award-winning musical will show at the Regent Theatre, which will undergo a $19.4 million redevelopment in the lead up.
"Securing Moulin Rouge! The Musical is a genuine coup for Victoria and a further boost for jobs in the events and creative sectors," Major Events Minister Martin Pakula said in a statement.
