A small team of 14 students and instructors from Taekwondo West contested divisions in patterns and sparring at the State Taekwondo Championships in Perth, last weekend.
Ten gold, three silver and five bronze medals, including 10 State titles from gold medallists, were the result for the club.
Students that medalled are now eligible to contest the national championships being held on the Gold Coast next month.
Head Instructor Annette Buss, Steve Spouse, Nayte Wright, Kobe McLaren, Aiden McLaren, Brayden Matheson, Ella Matheson, and Andre Bragg all won gold.
Justin Reynolds, Kim Walter, and Arianna Rawson claimed silver, while Buss, Kobe McLaren, Brayden Matheson, Arianna Rawson picked up one bronze each.
Katey Walter, Jaxon Johnson, and Neon Visleno also represented the club in the event.
Buss said she was proud of the results and level of sportsmanship on display.
"All of our team members tried their best to progress to their finals," she said.
"There were a lot of big divisions contested and a few disappointments on the day but that will make the competitors train even harder over the next five weeks to achieve their goals to be national champions."
The club thanked Walter, Reynolds, and Michelle Keddie for coaching the sparring players, and Spouse for refereeing and judging all day.
Taekwondo West trains participants of varying skill levels from all over the region.
