SWFL, Women: Bunbury notches up 15-point win over Busselton

In Round 16 of the South West Football League's women's competition, Bunbury held onto third with a 15-point win over Busselton at Bovell Park.

Ahead by just three points at quarter time, the Bulldogs kicked two unanswered goals in the second term.

After posting two goals to one in the third, the side went on to win 6.5 (41) to 4.2 (26).

Bulldogs Georgia Mahony, Kristy Larson, and Abby Gellard notched up two each.

Harvey-Brunswick-Leschenault cruised to a 40-point win over seventh-placed Eaton at Glen Huon Reserve.

Trailing at the first change, the Lions recovered to boot three unanswered goals in the second.

Zieana-Leigh Cornell (three) led HBL to a 7.11 (53) to 2.1 (13) victory.

Harvey retained second with a 10.5 (65) to 1.0 (6) win over the Eagles in Collie.

Dana East (four goals) and Kiera Bradley (two) were two of the Bulls' six goal-scorers on Sunday.

Teams will return to the field for Round 17, this weekend.
