The Dalyellup College Queen's Cup organising committee is busily preparing for an exciting weekend of entertainment.
This year's Queen's Cup will kick off on Friday evening, with performances from some of the South-West's best, young jazz musicians.
The Solos and Parties events will be held on Saturday morning, ahead of the brass band competition in the afternoon.
A range of school and community concert bands will hit the stage on Sunday.
Musicians from Bunbury, Busselton, Australind, Collie, and Donnybrook are expected to take part.
Students will get the chance to compete against one another, meet new people, and hone their skills.
For a gold coin donation, attendees will be able to pick up an event program.
Students, teachers, and parents at Dalyellup College will be working around the clock over the next few days.
Dalyellup College music coordinator Christina Darlington is encouraging school representatives and community members to attend.
"We've had a music department for about six years now, so this will be our first time hosting the event," she said.
"It's exciting to be able to host this competition. People from all over the South-West will be involved.
"The competition gives our students something to work towards."
The committee would like to thank the schools, volunteers, and sponsors - Dalyellup Beach Estate, in particular - for their support.
