SWFL, Women: HBL claims one-point win over Collie in Round 17

Logan Triplett (two goals) and Jemma Laver (one) led Harvey-Brunswick-Leschenault to a narrow victory over Collie in Round 17.

Following a low-scoring first term, the Lions kicked one goal before scoring an eight-point half-time lead.

HBL led by seven at three quarter time, before going on to secure a 3.3 (21) to 3.2 (20) win at Brunswick Oval.

Eagles Jonelle Blackford, Meg Purton, and Mandy Jackson impressed with one goal each.

South Bunbury continued its unbeaten run with a come-from-behind win over Bunbury at Hands Oval.

The Bulldogs held a six-point lead at the main break, after booting three goals to two in the first half.

The league leaders then recovered to claim a 6.5 (41) to 4.5 (29) victory.

Harvey retained second spot on the ladder with a 12.7 (79) to 1.1 (7) triumph over Carey Park.
