Bianca Elmir will enter the arena bereft of the salsa dancers that have become something of a trademark on her walk to the ring.
So the undefeated super bantamweight laughs "I'll have to put on a show myself", carrying all the flair and the sparkle-laden jacket Canberra boxing fans have grown accustomed to.
Elmir can't help but feel she was born to put on a show - it makes her the perfect fighter to help usher in a new era of Australian women's boxing live on pay-per-view.
The 37-year-old (3-0) faces the toughest fight of her career against two-time world title challenger Shannon O'Connell (17-6-1) at Bendigo Stadium on Saturday night.
While the eyes of most will drift towards headliner Jeff Horn in his bid to topple Michael Zerafa and lock in a shot at Ryota Murata's world middleweight crown, Elmir wants hers to be the name on everybody's lips come the final bell.
To do so she will drop to super bantamweight, having claimed the ANBF Australian featherweight title in Canberra four months ago.
"It's just so good to be televised and respected," Elmir said.
"We're both good fighters, I know that, I've met her in the amateurs and we'll be meeting each other again now.
"In the professional world she has had more than 20 fights and I'm just coming through, so she has got a great level of experience over me and she has had the rounds in the fights.
"What I may lack in experience, I make up for enthusiasm.
"It's a great opportunity. She is also in the top 20 in the whole world, so the ranking is on the line more than anything.
"It's not for a title but there's an international ranking on the table. That's what is up for grabs, so it is exciting."
As for how those amateur clashes transpired?
"We fought three times. I beat her twice for an Australian title and she beat me once," Elmir said.
But that was years ago now in a different arena and another weight class.
Now they meet again on a televised card set to be beamed around the nation as Horn - Elmir's former AIS teammate that she "travelled the world" with - hunts a pre-Christmas world title shot.
Just a fortnight after Tayla Harris and Renee Gartner made waves on a pay-per-view event, Elmir and O'Connell have their own chance to earn a place in history.
"The planets have aligned. She wanted to fight me, I'm keen, I'm coming off a win for the Australian title, it's perfect timing," Elmir said.
