What's good about living and working in regional Australia? What would make it better?
What do government policy-makers and industry leaders need to know to help them make better decisions?
This is the sort of input a new website dedicated to discussing the challenges and opportunities facing regional Australia wants to hear.
The Future Focus project (futurefocusproject.com.au) has been launched by Australian Community Media to focus thinking and debate around the potential of regional cities, towns and communities.
Australian Community Media is the country's leading, independently owned media company for regional and rural Australians. We publish more than 160 newspapers and websites (including this one) across every state and territory.
We are proud to live and work in regional Australia. We believe that strong regions are required for a stronger future Australia.
With the Future Focus project, we want to stir productive discussions about what decisions must be made and what policies and actions implemented to make regional Australia a brighter, healthier and happier place. And your input is vital.

To participate in the discussion, go to the Future Focus website and add your comments on any of the stories you'll find there. Content will be updated regularly and we'll soon be launching dialogue channels on Twitter and LinkedIn.
You will need to register with the Disqus platform to be able to comment on the website. This will ensure a safe and respectful place for debate. Moderators will ensure that discussion keeps on track and within the bounds of decency.
You will find content on the website falling under four main topics: prosperity, connection, sustainability and community. Dive in deeper to explore more.
While you're there, take a look through the first of our quarterly Future Focus magazines, available on the site as an e-edition. And check out the sorts of topics that will be covered in future issues.
Together, help us make a difference to the future of regional Australia. Let's celebrate what we have, but not be complacent about what may lie ahead.
