Picton Primary School's students and staff proudly embraced this year's Book Week theme - Reading is my Super Power.
The Super Kids Super Powers fundraising group paid a visit to the school on Thursday, September 5.
The staff held a morning tea, while the students donated a gold coin to dress up.
The P and C's members pooled together to donate $100 to the cause.
Picton Primary School manager corporate services Julie Bain said they were pleased with the outcome.
"What a fantastic opportunity for the students to see this amazing group of people who are raising funds for childhood cancer," she said.
"The interaction with the students was fantastic and all involved are amazing people.
It is an important message also that everyday people can be superheroes too and make a difference in lives of those less fortunate."
