Harvey Police have charged two women with drug-related offences after executing search warrants at properties in Harvey and Myalup on Friday, October 4.
Harvey Police officer in charge sergeant Scott Gillis said four officers and one canine unit were deployed to conduct the searches.
According to sergeant Gillis, police located two smoking implements in the Myalup property, which saw the 37-year-old occupant summoned for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Later, police searched a Harvey property and charged a 40-year-old women with possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Sergeant Gillis stressed the importance of reporting suspicious activity, encouraging the community to report any suspicious behaviour to police or Crimestoppers immediately.
"Drugs have a devastating effect on the people that use them, their families and the community as a whole," he said.
"Their use has a flow on effect to volume offences, like stealing and burglaries.
"Harvey Police will continue to actively target illegal activities that will cause harm to the safety of the community."
