The bay gelding produced a strong performance on the final lap, before crossing 15.9m ahead of Mondooley Mach.
Prentice and Palatino ($1.06, race favourite) secured the $4,484 first prize in 2100m Sky Racing MS Pace.
Palatino finished 7m ahead of Little George and 10.80m in front of Jesse Allwood.
Driver Mark Johnson and Budd Sidewinder ($3.20, race favourite) lined up in the 2100m Happy Birthday Tamara Markham MS Pace.
The brown gelding narrowly beat out Sir Nicholas and It Aint Royal.
The 1609m Triple M MS Pace saw trainer-driver Aiden de Campo and Delightfulreaction ($1.85, race favourite) edge out Sammys Ideal by a head.
Bay gelding Oh What A Country ($1.14, race favourite) took out the $4500 SOS Office Equipment MS Pace (1609m).
Bianca Ashcroft-trained Triple Brie ($9.50) and bay gelding Blazing Saddles ($61) claimed upset wins on the night.
