Carey Park News remained closed this afternoon as police investigate an armed hold-up at the business on Frankel Street.
About 8.15am on Friday, October 18, two men, one armed with a knife, allegedly entered the Carey Park business.
According to police, the pair threatened a staff member before leaving on foot with a small sum of cash and some other items.
It is understood that both men were wearing dark coloured clothing and their faces were covered.
