Bunbury Detectives have appealed for witnesses following an armed robbery at a newsagency in Carey Park on Friday morning, October 18.
According to police, the two offenders allegedly entered Carey Park News on Frankel Street about 8.10am, armed with a knife and a hammer.
One offender approached the counter before climbing over it and demanding cash of the store attendant.
The two men, both of which were wearing dark coloured clothing and had their faces covered, allegedly stole a quantity of cash and scratch and win cards before departing the premises on foot towards Wiseby Street.
Detective senior constable Rob Travers confirmed the two offenders remained outstanding and urged witnesses to be brave and come forward.
"There were many people in the area at the time and we feel that there are certainly people out there that can assist us," he said.
"We just want people to come forward.
"It was around the time of school drop-off and it was in close proximity to the [Carey Park Primary] school.
"We have no doubt that someone in Bunbury knows something and we'd like them to be brave enough to stand up to it and come forward."
Anyone who saw the robbery, or has dash-cam footage of the area around the time of the incident, is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report it online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au
