An Eaton Tavern staff member has beaten the odds to take out the PubTAB operator at the Australian Hotels Association Hospitality Awards on November 11. The tavern was also a finalist in three categories; retail bottleshop, draught beer quality and sporting entertainment venue award.
Vanessa Bozanich has been a valued team member for eight years and manager Vicki Skraha said she was very proud of the win.
"It is an incredible honour for an employee to achieve state finalist status in the AHA Awards for Excellence and the experience has been quite humbling for Vanessa," she said.
Ms Skraha said Ms Bozanich's work ethic was outstanding.
"The rapport she has with our customers epitomises the true meaning of hospitality," she said.
