Rider Clint Johnston-Porter and trainer Daniel Morton celebrated after Sulphur Crested ($12) took out the $25,000 Kennedy Molloy Handicap.
On December 4, 12 world-class entrants went head-to-head in the 1705-metre feature race.
After settling in third, Sulphur Crested held her position at the 800m mark and the turn.
With help from Johnston-Porter, the bay mare quickly moved up to first on the home straight.
Sulphur Crested crossed the line ahead of second-placed Shadow Hunter and race favourite Mr Kunafa.
Earlier in the day, Johnson-Porter and race favourite Drop the Orange ($2.50) scored a come-from-behind win in the 2038m Dirty Cliff Cup Maiden.
Following a sluggish start, the bay/brown gelding settled in fifth before falling back to sixth. In a thrilling finish, Drop the Orange edged out Marxian and Orasky by half a length.
Guided by rider Brad Parnham, Ross Price-trained Merivale Magic ($21) dominated the $20,000 Ausmic Pest Control Maiden.
Leading from start to finish over 1420m, the bay mare crossed ahead of Goodbyefeds and Bolshoi Gal.
Race Favourite Blonde Warrior fell back to seventh, before finishing ninth.
After placing third in the Ausmic Pest Control Maiden, rider Chris Parnham cruised to victory in the Allan for Breakfast Maiden (1216m).
He and grey-brown mare Ice Trade ($9) finished 1.2 lengths ahead of race favourites Obstination and Jakestar.
David Harrison-trained Grand Design ($4.20) beat out race favourite Bedouin Belle in the 1216m South West Yamaha Handicap.
Tawny Pete ($3.60) prevailed in the $25,000 Drive Home With Cliff Handicap, while race favourite Gessato ($3.10) won in the BOQ Bunbury Handicap.
