Helped by his swift gate speed, New Zealand's Franco Hammond ($5) took the lead early on.
Guided by driver Michael Paris, the bay gelding led at the bell and held his position on the last lap.
Franco Hammond crossed the line 2.10m ahead of Just Barney and 8.80m in front of race favourite Free to Air.
Driver Mark Johnson was issued a warning for racing roughly.
Earlier in the evening, driver Trent Wheeler and race favourite Neverfeltbetter ($2.70) led from start to finish in the 1609m Pierlite MS Pace.
After the race, driver Emily Suvaljko was fined $200 for unacceptable whipping.
Babyface Adda ($1.18 race favourite) crossed 18m ahead of second-placed Fight Song in the Schneider Electric MS Pace (2100m).
The 1609m NHP MS Pace saw trainer-driver Kristian Hawkins and race favourite Johnnys Grange ($1.38) finish 9.1m ahead of Torpedo Rock.
Bay mare Joey Girl ($4.80) edged out Moonlightsshadow by a half-head in the 1609m Philips MS Pace.
Race favourite For Honourandglory fell back on the last lap and finished eighth.
Punters Dream ($26) took out the 2100m Robus MS Pace, while Ollie Oliver ($14) prevailed in the Legrand 3yo Westbred MS Pace (2100m).
The Bunbury Trotting Club will host another night of pacing action on December 17.
