Flames cause $200,000 damage to East Bunbury home

Bunbury's career and volunteer firefighters moved quickly to contain a house fire on North Street, East Bunbury at the weekend.

Crews responded to a 000 call about 10.22am on December 8.

The firefighters brought the blaze under control, before extinguishing the flames at 11.20am. A dog was rescued from the premises.

The incident caused an estimated $200,000 damage. The cause is still unknown.

South-West police are currently investigating the matter.
