BBA, Women - Round 10: Dunsborough claims 64-point win over Eaton Eagles

Dunsborough retained top spot on the Bunbury Basketball Association's 2019/2020 Women's ladder with a resounding win over Eaton in Round 10.

In front by 17 points at quarter time, the Oilers went on to secure a 50 to 20 lead at the main break.

Scoring 50 to 16 in the second half, the league leaders celebrated a commanding 100 to 36 result.

Aces Sky's Abbey Hall notched up 29 points against Bulls at the Eaton Recreation Centre.

Thanks to solid team coordination and accurate shooting, her side earned a well-deserved 57 to 51 win.

League leaders Tornadoes Black clashed with a spirited Tornadoes Red in Round 11 of the Men's competition.

Trailing by one at the main break, Tornadoes Black recovered to secure a 66 to 61 victory.

Tornadoes Black's Nicholas Lawrence and Craig Kamocha landed 14 points each, while teammate Xavier Cotton posted 12.

Bottom-placed Eaton slumped to its 10th loss of the season - going down to Dunsborough, 52 to 44.

Cody Garett top-scored for the Eagles with 19, ahead of Oilers Lachlan Frame (17) and Lachlan Murray (10).

Anthony Marinovich (24) and Jeremy Paull (18) led Aces Sky to a devastating 87 to 47 win over Aces White.

The result saw Aces Sky retain second on the ladder.

Teams will return to the South West Sports Centre on Friday evening.
