Residents in Withers are demanding answers following a series of car break-ins and acts of unruly behaviour.
Faith Jordyn, 20, moved into the Newington Green apartment complex, on Reynolds Way and Stallard Place, late last year.
On January 9, thieves broke into her partner's car - located in the complex's car park - and stole his work boots.
Another car in the immediate vicinity was also targeted.
Her partner's car was broken into again on January 10, with the culprits taking several cigarette butts from the ashtray.
Ms Jordyn spotted three children and two adults jumping over the fence and into the car park on January 11 and 12.
The boots have since been found and returned to their owner.
After reporting the incidents on social media, Ms Jordyn and her partner were inundated with support.
She said increased security measures were needed in order to deter criminals from targeting the complex.
One resident, who did not wish to be identified, said her car had been scratched/rummaged through on multiple occasions over the past year.
"If I didn't have security screens on my windows, I would feel very unsafe," she said.
She said she was looking to move out as soon as possible.
Another resident, Whatuhuia Voller, said her car had been rummaged through/broken into on more than 12 occasions over the past three years.
To avoid having the windows smashed in, Ms Voller now leaves her vehicle unlocked in the car park.
Last month, thieves broke into her apartment and stole various items including jewellery.
Ms Voller is also currently looking for a new place to live.
Newington Green Strata chairperson Laurence Goodman is urging residents to report any and all incidents to police.
"The strata company is planning further upgrades to include lighting, robust permeable fencing, CCTV cameras, and electronic communication to connect residents with visitors and to open pedestrian gates," he said.
"Funds have been allocated and the next stage will be to consult with other agencies at all levels connected with community building.
"We need their help, advice, and cooperation to improve conditions for all local residents and make our residents feel safe in their homes.
"We have experience and resources relevant to this exercise. We are hoping to have cooperation from the City of Bunbury, the Department of Housing, and the police to achieve the potential of this neighbourhood."
Mr Goodman said the company has already invested $4 million over 10 years into improving the complex.
