City of Bunbury staff and community leaders are looking forward to this weekend's Australia Day festivities.
Runners and joggers will head to the Leschenault Inlet for the Australia Day Fun Run, starting at 7.30am.
From 6.30am to 10am, the Apex Club of Bunbury Koombana will be serving up breakfast treats at the Graham Bricknell Music Shell.
"We are working towards having a bigger presence in the community," Apex Club of Bunbury Koombana president Stacey Hearn said.
"It feels good to bring people together and to celebrate Australia Day as one."
At 8.30am, the community will come together for the Mayor's Citizenship and Awards Ceremony.
Held from 4pm at Bicentennial Square, this year's SkyFest Australia Day Celebrations will include food trucks, market stalls, family-friendly activities, and live music.
The event will conclude at 8.30pm with a fireworks display at the Leschenault Inlet.
The city has announced it would be donating $20,000 to the National Bushfire Disaster Appeal.
A collection point will be set up at the city's information tent, allowing community members to also make donations.
Lotterywest will be contributing $30,000 to the city's Australia Day celebrations in 2020.
"The Australia Day celebrations presented by the City of Bunbury are the best in regional WA but this amazing event would not be possible without the support of sponsors like Lotterywest," Bunbury MLA Don Punch said.
"Both the City of Bunbury and Lotterywest are making an invaluable contribution to our community and I pass on my thanks to each of them."
The Australind Lions Club will be hosting an Australia Day breakfast event at the Ridley Place Foreshore, on Old Coast Road, from 7am.
The Bull and Bush Tavern will kick off its 'Family Funday' event at 9.30am, before the Sanctuary Golf Resort will hold its 'Wet and Wild - Australia Day Family Fun Day' extravaganza from 11am to 4pm.
Festivities will also be held in Dardanup, Eaton, Boyanup, Capel, and Burekup on Sunday morning.
