Marist re-claimed top spot on the Bunbury and Districts Cricket Association's First Grade ladder with a stunning three-wicket win over Colts.

Returning to Forrest Park in Round 13, the Blues won the toss and chose to field first.

Colts' opener Declan Boston (0 runs) lasted two balls at the crease, before Vikramjit Singh posted 16 off 38 (including three fours).

Continuing his red-hot form, captain Cruize Ciallella slogged an impressive four fours and one six on his way to 69.

The reigning premiers fell to 6/122, after Marist's Brayden Clarke dismissed Nicholas Wilson (5), Riley Miguel (13), and Tyler King (11) in quick succession.

Supported by tailender Josh Topliss (15), the visitors reached a total of 9/180 from their 50 overs.

Clarke notched up an impeccable 65 (including five fours and one six) in his 111 minutes at the crease.

Top order batsman Ben Clarke knocked 60 off 79, while teammate Jaxon Cornford made 20 off 39.

The Blues did enough to reach Colts' total with 8.5 overs remaining.

Miguel starred for the visitors with 2/32 and one catch. Wilson (1/14), Ciallella (1/37), and Ethan Kelly (1/18) added one wicket and one catch each to the scoreboard.

A blistering spell from Jono Whitney steered fourth-placed Hay Park to a 77-run win over the Beavers on Saturday afternoon.

Batting first at the Eaton Sports Ground, the opener knocked six fours and one six on his way to 52 off 69.

Fellow opener Toby Rawling impressed with 23 off 62, before John Richardson pitched in with 19 off 42.

Star bowlers Liam Renton (5/24) and Clayton Caltsounis (4/35) kept the home side in contention.

With help from Grant Milbanke (21 not out) and Jonathan Calver (15), the visitors cruised to 9/165.

Returning to the field after lunch, Milbanke (3/1), Richardson (2/14), and Calver (2/28) decimated Eaton's top and middle orders.

Stranded on a measly 5/9, star batsmen James Hillery (44 off 53) and Josh Grime (24 off 29) provided some relief.

Finishing with 9/88, the Beavers slumped to their ninth loss of the season.

Leschenault, Marist, Hay Park, and Eaton will return to the field this weekend for Round 14.
