More than 100 golfers donning their most colourful attire took to the green at Sanctuary Golf Resort for the highly-anticipated Camp Quality Golf Day on Friday, February 21. Twenty-seven four-person teams competed in the name of charity, many of which were representing generous local businesses. Community groups, including the Eaton Lions Club, were on-hand to ensure players remained hydrated and well-fed on what was a humid day on the course. Organisers also held a dinner and an auction, with local businesses pitching in to raise much-needed funds for the charity, which assists children and families going through cancer treatment. This year's Golf Day saw more than $40,000 raised, a significant increase on last year's total of $33,000. Now in its 16th year, Camp Quality Golf Day coordinator Brian Hovey said he had been overwhelmed by the generosity and support of local businesses and community members.
