Students enjoy 2020 South-West SunSmart Schools Tennis Classic on March 6

Earlier this month, students from all over Western Australia headed to Bunbury for the 2020 South-West SunSmart Schools Tennis Classic.

Held at the Bunbury Tennis Club, the tournament saw some of the state's best young players showcase their skills.

Dunsborough Primary School's mixed boys and girls team cruised to victory in this year's Academy Plate competition.

St Mary MacKillop College (Busselton) secured the Herbert Edwards Cup - Boys' title, while Georgiana Molloy Anglican School (also Busselton) prevailed in the Girls' division.

Frederick Irwin Anglican School (Meadow Springs) and Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School took out the Slazenger Cup's Boys and Girls' titles, respectively.

Initially scheduled for March 27, the 2020 SunSmart Schools Tennis Classic Finals (Perth) have been postponed due to ongoing health concerns.

This year's tournaments were proudly supported by Tennis WA, School Sport WA, Healthway, and the D'Arcy Slater Foundation.
