Many of the South-West's sporting clubs and facilities have been greatly affected by the ongoing Coronavirus outbreak.
On Sunday evening, Prime Minister Scott Morrison ordered all indoor sporting venues and gyms to close their doors until further notice.
The City of Bunbury announced the closure of the South West Sports Centre on March 23, with all direct debit memberships suspended immediately.
Impacted by the government's decision, the owners of the Bunbury Indoor Cricket and Sports Centre took to social media to thank the members for their undying support.
The Bunbury and Districts Badminton Association was forced to shut down and to cancel its 'Have-a-go' Registration Night, initially scheduled for March 25.
Last week, the WA Football Commission agreed to suspend all junior and senior competitions across metropolitan and regional areas.
Abiding by the WAFC's recommendations, the South West Football League postponed Round One of the upcoming season until May 31 and cancelled this year's Alcoa Women's Pre-season Carnival.
SWFL general manager Simone Nani thanked the clubs, officials, and wider community for their understanding during this difficult time.
"As each day and week passes, we will be going on directions from the WA Football Commission," she said.
"Should we resume on May 31, we've got a plan in place. We want to make sure that everyone within the community remains healthy.
"Hopefully, we'll all be back on-board very soon."
The South West Netball Football League also opted to postpone all activities until the end of May.
"At this stage, we can start club training on May 23 and hold games on May 31," South West Netball Football League president Keren Stewart said.
"If the SWFL puts out new fixtures, we'll then re-assess everything.
"With a bit of luck, we'll come out the other side and get to play netball some time this year."
Following Football Federation Australia's advice, the South West Soccer Association suspended all training sessions and games until April 14.
This year's SWSA regular season will begin on May 3, with matches set to take place under normal playing conditions.
The remaining Pioneer Cup and Charity Shield fixtures have officially been cancelled.
Basketball WA agreed to postpone this year's State Basketball League competitions until the end of May.
Next month, the SBL commission will determine a revised format for the upcoming season.
As per Hockey Australia's wishes, the South West Hockey League suspended all junior and senior training sessions, bookings, and competitions.
Bunbury Hockey president Brad Scott said the committee would continue to monitor the situation and keep the clubs informed.
Minimising risk to its members and volunteers, WA iSports inc. cancelled all training sessions and scheduled events.
The group's upcoming cultural tour of Malaysia has been pushed back to November.
WA iSports inc. chairperson Franco Harkins is encouraging the members and volunteers to look out for each other.
