Businesses across Bunbury and the South-West have been forced to make drastic changes or shut down, in the wake of the ongoing Coronavirus outbreak.
Dough Chino dessert shop, located on Victoria Street, has devised some new and inventive ways of keeping its doors open.
Impacted by the federal government's cafe/restaurant restrictions, the business has shifted from in-store to online sales.
Among its many recent changes, Dough Chino is now serving ready-made meals and making deliveries.
Owner/director Daniel Macnish said they have adapted to meet the current demand for fast, tasty takeaway options.
He also said they were striving to keep as many staff members on-board as possible.
"I recently walked around to other cafes and restaurants in the area," Mr Macnish said.
"From what I understand, this is something that a lot of businesses haven't seen before. They don't know what do.
"The level of community support has been amazing, and many of the local cafes have been helping one another to survive.
"I've made some new friends, as well. We'll be working to get through this together."
Mr Macnish is encouraging the community to "buy local and spend local" as much as possible over the next few months.
"We are asking everyone to continue supporting the city and local businesses," he said.
