Pharmacies across Bunbury and the South-West are urging customers to exercise caution during the ongoing health crisis.
Adhering to social distancing guidelines, South West Hospital Pharmacy installed a new kiosk window last month.
The window allows each patient to have their prescriptions filled whilst standing outside.
The pharmacy is now also making deliveries to at-risk patients who are unable to leave their homes.
South West Hospital Pharmacy managing partner Leah Henderson said the changes have helped to prevent overcrowding and protect the staff and patients.
"As a team, we are very busy right now," she said.
"We've been able to help the majority of our patients with sourcing their medications.
"There have been some supply issues, but we've been able to work through them with our customers.
"We will be doing everything in our power to help our patients and the community."
The Bunbury Drive-in Chemist - located on Forrest Avenue - is offering free deliveries to patients between Australind and Gelorup.
The pharmacy has also hired more casual employees to assist with the increase in customer numbers.
The business will be closed from 2.30pm-3pm each day for daily cleaning duties and staff changeovers.
