Community confidence is on the rise with more and more events being organised beyond COVID-19.
The City of Bunbury has recently announced its latest grant funding recipients for 2020-21.
The exciting list of events is headlined by a CBD Summer Event, Park Life Jazz, Reggae and Ibiza, being selected for the one-off $15,000 grant.
Popular returning events were also successful, including Bunbury Fringe 2021 with $37,500, Bunbury's Street Pole Vault with $20,000 and Bunbury Eisteddfod with $20,000.

City of Bunbury Mayor Gary Brennan said the latest grant funding recipients symbolised an exciting step forward for the city.
"The city is proud to yet again support a selection of exciting events and initiatives for our community to enjoy," Mayor Brennan said.
"These events are important in giving our residents and visitors something to look forward to, but also in providing our wonderful City the social and economic boost that is needed more than ever."
The program was bolstered by an extra $90,0000 for a new Capacity and Resilience Grants round which is in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
More than $480,000 was available across the four categories which also included the CBD Summer Event, Events, Community and Arts.
Other successful events include:
- GT Fabrications Targa Bunbury Sprint & Shannon's Show 'n' Shine;
- Planet Zero 2020;
- Bunbury Show 2021;
- Bunbury Chinese New Year Festival 2021;
- Bunbury Summer School 2021;
- Seniors Information and Activity Day;
- Conquer Cystic Fibrosis - Family Movie Night;
- Tree Street Art Safari 2020-21.
All event organisers will be responsible for, and will need to follow, State and Federal government guidelines in regard to COVID-19 procedures.
The city also encourages successful applicants to maximise access to, and use, local resources and suppliers.
