A restaurant chain that promises to provide fresh food options along with a social conscience will be opening at Eaton Fair Shopping Centre.
Australia's largest Mexican restaurant franchise, Zambrero, swings open its doors in late March 2021 to serve feel-good Mexican food to diners in the South West town.
Eaton's Zambrero franchisee Vijay Kharsan said he was thrilled to open the restaurant's doors to the Bunbury region.
"We're thrilled to be opening our doors to the Eaton community, who has made us feel right at home since we first began work on the restaurant," Mr Kharsan said.
"It's exciting to have the opportunity to contribute to the South West region, both by creating jobs, and by providing access to a modern take on Mexican cuisine."
Under the Plate 4 Plate initiative, each time someone purchases a burrito or bowl from a Zambrero restaurant, the company sends a nutritious meal to someone in need in the developing world via their distribution partner, Rise Against Hunger.
Similarly, for every purchase from Zambrero's retail range, a meal is donated to someone in an underprivileged Australian community.

To date, Zambrero has donated over 45 million meals through humanitarian partners Rise Against Hunger and Foodbank.
Mr Kharsan said now the people of the South West can get involved in Zambrero's goal to donate a billion meals by 2025.
Zambrero offers fresh food packed with true Mexican flavour with its original take on burritos, tacos and nachos.
Mr Kharsan said the meats were sourced from quality producers and slow-cooked for up to 18 hours with carefully selected herbs, spices and chilies to extract maximum flavour and tenderness.
"Guacamole and salsas feature fresh vegetables and herbs, and are handmade at the restaurant," he said.
"Spiced Cauliflower is perfect for vegans and vegetarians or for those looking to mix up their usual order."
To celebrate the opening, Zambrero will be giving away free burritos to the first 1000 customers to Mexican enthusiasts who come into the restaurant at our grand opening in late March.
