Australian Storm Sanders has bowed out of the Prague Open but French Open champion Barbora Krejcikova is a step closer to claiming a home title after cruising into the semi-finals.
Sanders had no answer to Greet Minnen on Friday, crashing out to the Belgian 6-2 6-1 in their quarter-final.
Minnen booked a semi-final clash with Czech Tereza Martincova, who ousted Slovakian Viktoria Kuzmova 6-2 6-2.
In the other semi-final, second seed Krejcikova will play Xinyu Wang after reaching the final four with a 6-3 6-0 win over fellow Czech player and doubles partner Katerina Siniakova.
China's Xinyu Wang overcame Grace Min 6-3 6-3.
At the Hungarian Grand Prix, top seed Yulia Putintseva battled from behind to win her quarter-final match against Kateryna Kozlova.
The Ukrainian took the opening set in a tie-break before Putintseva advanced with a hard-fought 7-6 (7-4) 6-0 7-5 success.
She will play Dalma Galfi in the last four after the Hungarian beat Olga Danilovic 6-4 6-2.
Home favourite Panna Udvardy is out after losing in straight sets to Anhelina Kalinina.
Udvardy knocked out sixth seed Aliaksandra Sasnovich on Thursday but the world No.204 was unable to repeat the feat and reach the semi-finals as she succumbed 6-4 6-4.
Kalinina will play second seed Danielle Collins after the American eased past Paula Ormaechea 6-1 6-4.
Meanwhile, top seed Tamara Zidansek is through to the semi-finals at the Ladies Open in Lausanne.
The Slovenian was taken to three sets by Lucia Bronzetti but saw off the Italian with a 6-4 4-6 6-3 success.
Zidansek will play Maryna Zanevska after she beat Natalia Vikhlyantseva 7-5 6-4.
Clara Burel of France overcame her compatriot Fiona Ferro 7-5 6-2 and there will be another all-French match-up for the 20-year-old in the semi-finals against Caroline Garcia, after she beat Zarina Diyas 7-5 6-2.
