ACTIV Business Services Bunbury has built furniture in an effort to support small, local business as well as provide work opportunities for employees with disabilities.
Set to be in use at the newly opened Nourish Juice and Coffee Bar, the custom-designed pieces include tables, chairs and bench seats.
Activ South West Customer Operations Manager Darren McNab said Activ's supported employees were thrilled to design and manufacture the timber pieces.
"Our supported employees really take pride in their work and love seeing it out in the local community, to show their family and friends and talk about what they've created," Mr McNab said.

"We enjoy seeing their skills grow along with their confidence, and it means so much to them as they are able to be creative, and get involved in the design and development of something new. It's a pleasure to be involved in."
Nourish Juice Bar and Café Owner Larrisa recognises the importance of providing meaningful employment to people with disability and is thrilled with the furniture now being used at her business.
"When I was planning my shop fit-out, with COVID and its challenges I really wanted to support local while using substantial products. After visiting the Activ pop-up shop in Busselton, I fell in love with the products and the fact that I'd be supporting a business with a purpose I believe in," Larrisa said
"It meant a lot to me to work with Activ, the team work so hard and the workmanship was amazing. I really can't wait to expand the café so I can work with Activ again, I get comments on our furniture every day."
After working on contracts with the Bunbury Turf Club, Busselton Jetty, Illusions Margaret River and Matso's Brewery, Activ Business Services Bunbury is looking forward to supporting more local businesses with custom-made furniture.
