Olympics Unleashed connects athletes with schools and communities across the country to inspire people to find and follow their passion and learning skills in goal setting, overcoming challenges and developing resilience.
Olympics Unleashed is a new initiative in Western Australia and is a partnership between the Australian Olympic Committee and the Western Australian Government.
From August 10 to 12, three elite athletes will be visiting Busselton, Bunbury and Collie to share their stories.
All three athletes will be drawing on their sporting journeys and overcoming challenges to compete in their chosen sport at the highest level to help inspire others to be the best they can be - whether that's in school, at home, on the sporting field or with friends.
The athletes include former basketballer Natalie Burton, elite water polo player Luci Marsh and sprint kayaker Yale Steinepreis.
Yale and Luci are training for the Paris Games and are part of the Paris 2024 initiate.
On August 10, Luci Marsh will be speaking to local Busselton water polo players, coaches and officials at Geographe Leisure Centre from 4-5pm about her journey so far in water polo and conducting a basic dry land water polo session.
The athletes will be visiting South Bunbury Primary School, Cooinda Primary School and Bunbury Senior High School on August 11.
