Around 50 WA riders will ban together for an adjusted Ride to the Red Centre on Friday August 6.
In 2020 it would have been the Black Dog Ride's tenth anniversary of the event which brings motorcyclists from across the country together at Alice Springs to raise awareness of mental illness and suicide prevention.
Of course the global pandemic had other plans, so the group attempted to organise a delayed anniversary ride for 2021.
Event coordinator Steve Ingram said they had to make a call on if they cancel the ride altogether or plan for something different.

"Everyone that was registered was keen to keep going," he said.
Riders will start in Busselton and make their way to the South Australian border then turning back to go through Norseman, Coolgardie and Kalgoorlie.
Mr Ingram said there will be lots of events for them to raise awareness and much needed funds.
"This is the state version and the only ones that I think will go all the way except the last leg to Alice Springs"
The riders are from across the South West and money raised from the ride will go towards training mental health first responders.
