The Live Lighter Nannup Flower and Garden Festival will open this weekend, with 20,000 tulip bulbs beginning to burst, washing the South West town with colour.
There are 12 open gardens and studios offering a mix of established and new plantings showcasing the real diversity of the town.
This weekend, two free tours will be conducted by Rod Cary from the Geographe Catchment Land Council, who will take guests through the local forest discussing wildflowers of the jarrah forest and native plants for parks and gardens.
All workshops and activities can be found on the festival website, participants must register for the free events as well as for the ticketed events.
