NEW CASES
* 423 new locally acquired cases
* Two deaths, bringing the toll from the current outbreak to eight

* 149 cases linked to outbreaks, source of 274 cases unknown
- 274 cases in Melbourne's northern suburbs, including Craigieburn, Roxburgh Park and Glenroy
- 112 in western suburbs, including Truganina, Tarneit and Point Cook
- 10 in eastern suburbs, including Croydon and Donvale
- 25 in the southeast suburbs, including Keysborough, Dandenong, and Clyde North
- Five in regional Victoria, two in Ballarat, two in Mitchell Shire and one in Geelong
* 4038 active cases in the state
* 88 per cent of active cases are in Melbourne's north and west suburbs
* 84 per cent of active cases are under the age of 50, with a quarter in their 20s
* 61 active cases in regional Victoria
* 173 people in hospital, 44 in intensive care with 23 on ventilators

VACCINATIONS
* 41,856 vaccine doses administered on Tuesday at Victorian-run hubs
* 68.3 per cent of the eligible population has received first dose
* Victoria has reached its goal to administer a million jabs at state-run hubs in five weeks
