VICTORIA'S ROADMAP OUT OF LOCKDOWN EXPLAINED
* Once 80 per cent of Victorians aged over 16 have had one COVID-19 vaccine dose, which is forecast to occur about September 26:
- Recreational sport; including basketball, golf, tennis, cricket; for up to five fully vaccinated people can resume. Access to facilities must be contactless
- Personal training outside for up to five fully vaccinated people
- Melbourne's 10-kilometre travel limit expanded to 15km
- In regional Victoria masks can be removed at hairdressers/beauty services, all Prep to Year 2, and Year 12 students return to onsite learning, as well as those studying a Unit 3/4 subject, in their final year of VCAL or the international baccalaureate
* From October 5:
- Year 12 students in Melbourne can return to sit the GAT, with on-site learning to resume the following day for 3/4 students and final year VCAL and IB students
* From October 18:
- Prep students return three days a week, Years 1 and 2 return two days a week
* Once 70 per cent of Victorians aged over 16 are fully vaccinated, which is forecast to occur about October 26:
- Lockdown ends in Melbourne, with the five reasons to leave home and 9pm to 5am curfew scrapped
- 15km travel limit increases to 25km
- Ten fully vaccinated people can gather outdoors, community sport training returns for the minimum number required for training
- Pubs, clubs and entertainment venues can open to 50 fully vaccinated people outside
- Weddings/funerals for 50 fully vaccinated people outdoors
- Hairdressers/personal care for up to five fully vaccinated people
- All students return at least part-time to classrooms
- In regional Victoria: Community sport can return indoors for minimum number required, pubs/clubs/entertainment venues can open indoors to 30 fully vaccinated people; school students return onsite at least part-time; funerals/weddings for 30 fully vaccinated people inside and 100 outside.

- Metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria return to the same settings, intrastate travel allowed
- Masks only required indoors
- Home gatherings of up to 10 people, including dependents, outdoor gatherings of up to 30 fully vaccinated people
- Pubs/restaurants/cafes reopen for seated service, 150 fully vaccinated people allowed inside and 500 out, density limits apply
- Hairdressers/beauty salons/other personal care reopens for fully vaccinated people, density limits apply
- All retail can reopen for fully vaccinated people, density limits apply
- Weddings/funerals/religious services return for 150 fully vaccinated adults indoors and 500 outdoors
- Early childhood education reopens
- All students return to school full time
- Adult education returns
* By December 25, 30 visitors allowed inside all Victorian homes
