For Adam Road year two students, Rhys, Kayden, Allira, Verona and Grace, Christmas means spending time with family and having lots of yummy, Christmas food.

Here's what else they are excited for this year:

Rhys Rowlands

What do you think of when you hear the word 'Christmas'? Santa, a Christmas tree and presents. What do you hope Santa brings you for Christmas? A 12 x 12 board, chess set. What does Christmas mean to you? Spending time with my family and friends. We usually have a big Christmas lunch with the whole family tree. I sort of like pavlova.

Kayden Fidler-Howell

What do you think of when you hear the word 'Christmas'? Toys, snowmen and snow. What do you hope Santa brings you for Christmas? A Lego remote controlled train. I'm really looking forward to getting one. What does Christmas mean to you? Having fun, being happy and spending time together with our family. Sometimes I spend the day visiting all the people in my family because there's so many.

Allira Brandis

What do you think of when you hear the word 'Christmas'? Family, presents and probably just having fun. What do you hope Santa brings you for Christmas? I just want to get a new bed because the one I've got is very squeaky. What does Christmas mean to you? Spending time with my family, having fun and enjoying Christmas. I normally stay with my Aunty. We normally set a big tent up and have lots of food with my friends and cousins. My favourite Christmas food is roast pork because we normally have it all the time.

Verona Mangano

What do you think of when you hear the word 'Christmas'? Snow, presents and family. What do you hope Santa brings you for Christmas? Even though I already have a dog, she seems very lonely so for the past two years I've really wanted a Pomeranian. It's super tiny and really cute. I'd name it Snowy. What does Christmas mean to you? Having fun, spending time with my family and also going to my cousins or my grandma's house to have Christmas.

Grace Birch

What do you think of when you hear the word 'Christmas'? Stockings, ornaments and a star. What do you hope Santa brings you for Christmas? Maybe a telescope or a nail stamper. What does Christmas mean to you? It means just about having fun and spending time with your family and friends. I'll spend time with my little brother and sister, Noah and Tilly.
