A CAREY Park woman’s precious memories of her five-year-old son have been returned after her home was ransacked last week.
Bunbury Police have charged a 15-year-old boy from Maddington with the crime along with four other burglaries, criminal damage and five stolen car charges.
While Chloey Dougheney and her partner were sleeping in their home on Frankel Street, Carey Park, a thief broke in and stole an iPhone, handbag, wallet and sunglasses.
Her diary was also stolen, which contained photos of her five-year-old son Brae.
Brae had cerebral palsy and passed away in March 2011 after battling through 37 bouts of pneumonia and countless hospital visits.
Detective sergeant Steve Harris said the 15-year-old had led police to the location where he had stashed Miss Dougheney’s belongings and they had been returned.
The boy faced Bunbury court on Tuesday and was released on bail.
